From looking at the different types of humorous materials from different areas of the world, it’s clear that each geographic areas have a sense of humor unique to that area. In the view of communications, humor is a communication tool that embodies social values, beliefs, opinions and how the culture perceives what is funny. However, as the minute cultural implications are not always easy to convey from one culture to another, what is funny in one culture may be considered otherwise in another.
